Reno, the location of the 2024 Western LEAD Provincial Conference, is the largest city in Northern Nevada. With excellent weather, Reno and the surrounding area provide unlimited indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Spectacular Lake Tahoe and the largest concentration of ski facilities in the world are all within a fifty-mile radius. Biking, camping, hunting, fishing and mountain climbing are all activities Reno residents and visitors enjoy. Tech giants Tesla, Switch, and Panasonic are just a few of the companies that have chosen to call Northern Nevada home, leading to a spur in the local economy. Boutique hotels, craft breweries, and a thriving art scene are now becoming synonymous with Reno, making it the perfect vacation destination.
